For more than 43 years, the Hawaii Invitational International Music Festival has brought the spirit of music and culture to life in Honolulu. Tens of thousands of Hawaiian and mainland student performers—including marching bands, jazz bands, orchestras, choirs, auxiliary units, drill teams, dancers, floats, and decorated vehicles—have entertained both locals and visitors from around the world. Each spring, ensembles parade down Kalākaua Avenue at sunset, with Waikīkī Beach as the backdrop, creating one of the most unforgettable music festival experiences in Hawai‘i.
